This site is a tribute to our colleague David Jones. He is much loved and will always be remembered. 

David was taken too soon in February 2023.  Dave left us suddenly, leaving his much loved family, friends and colleagues at YHA in Matlock and across the YHA network shocked, incredibly sad, upset and completely lost without him. 

Dave was immense in what he did for YHA and will ever be remembered.

Monies donated will support the work of YHA (England & Wales), a charity that Dave was very proud to work for, for over 20 years, through our Heart of the Community Appeal.   

YHA is running this fundraising campaign to have Defibrillators fitted outside all of our hostels.  Dave's family thought this an appropriate cause and are fully supportive.  I know Dave would approve of this too.
